Mark has a knack for making the tax code a little less taxing.

For more than 30 years, Mark has helped business owners navigate federal, state, and local tax issues with practical advice and a steady hand. Whether he’s developing proactive tax strategies or helping someone respond to an unexpected IRS notice, his focus is always on finding solutions that fit the client’s goals, not just the tax code.

Mark’s clients appreciate his ability to explain complex issues in everyday language, but just as importantly, they value his calm, approachable style. He enjoys building long-term relationships, helping clients think through important decisions, and giving them the confidence to move forward.

Earlier in his career, Mark taught tax at Oglethorpe University for five years, an experience that reflects both his technical expertise and his passion for sharing knowledge.

Beyond the Bio

Accounting wasn’t the master plan. Mark jokes that he became a CPA because accounting was the only class he earned an A in, and his mom said he could make a living at it.
Tuscany is always calling. If he could hop on a plane tomorrow, he’d happily return for the incredible food, beautiful scenery, and slower pace of life.
Sports are his favorite way to recharge. Whether he’s watching a game or getting out to play, he’s a lifelong fan.
His perfect night in? An episode of Cheers, chocolate pudding from Valenza, and a Vince Flynn political thriller.
Before taxes, there was soccer. At five years old, Mark was convinced he’d grow up to be a professional soccer player. Life had other plans.
